Collider reports from a press screening of “Watchmen: The Director’s Cut” on Blu-ray that Zack Snyder’s full vision of “Watchmen” will have a brief theatrical run in four cities for one weekend before Comic Con International in San Diego. From the story:
Zack said the movie would show in theaters “the weekend before Comic-Con in Los Angeles, Dallas, Minneapolis, and New York.” He said the release would only be for one weekend and in one theater.
Now whether you liked the movie or not, I think this is quite possibly the best chance we have to see Alan Moore’s full vision on screen mixed in with Snyder’s hyper-violence.
The “Watchmen: The Director’s Cut” Blu-Ray hits stores July 21st.
