Hasbro has been merchandising Star Wars for decades now and has tied into every film with at least a few figures per movie- this Friday, the Solo movie gets their due and we will have several products available to commemorate the new film featuring the adventures of a young Han Solo. Hasbro’s now-flagship line, the 6″ Black Series features several figures of Solo characters such as Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian, an Imperial Range Trooper and Emilia Clarke’s Qi’Ra will be the first figures out the gate from the forthcoming feature film. The other figures from earlier movies in the Star Wars saga include a reworked Death Star Trooper and a reissued Jawa now in standard Star Wars Black packaging, plus new figures of Grand Moff Tarkin and 4-LOM will also be available on Friday. 4-LOM and Qi’Ra will be in very limited quantities as we haven’t yet received our full shipment of them as yet. In addition to the Solo film figures, we should also be getting a restock on the Captain Rex figure which came out a few series back.
That isn’t all for Star Wars either, as we will have one new series of the Forcelink 3 and 3/4″ figures, including Qi’Ra, Chewbacca, the Mimban Stormtrooper and the Range Trooper from Solo, K-2SO from Rogue One and Luke and Maz Kanata from The Last Jedi. In addition to that, Hasbro is returning to their fully articulated 3 3/4″ figures with a new set available on vintage Kenner-inspired backer cards. Force Awakens Kylo Ren, First Order Stormtrooper, Rey, Rogue One Jyn Erso, The Last Jedi Snoke and a Hoth Rebel from Empire Strikes Back comprise this first new wave of the Vintage Collection. The last item to hit our store shelves will be a wearable Star Wars Black Series Darth Vader helmet which looks pretty awesome.
The other item of note this week is a small restock on the first wave of Avengers Infinity War Marvel Legends. If you missed out on Iron Spider, Captain America, Proxima Midnight, Taskmaster or King Cobra- they will be back on our shelves in limited numbers this week.
