Over the weekend, Avengers: Infinity War earned enough money to become the biggest box-office opening of all time. Where it will fall on the cumulative box-office totals remains to be seen. I personally enjoyed the film, and without spoilers- what a thrill ride! That being said, Hasbro should be dropping a wave of Avengers Marvel Legends very soon. To refresh your memory as to who will be making their appearance in this series, they will include the following: Ant Man and the Wasp from the forthcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp feature film, Comic versions of Malekith and Black Knight as well as Thor and Black Widow from Avengers: Infinity War. The Build-a-figure is Cull Obsidian also from the movie. These could hit as early as this week. We should also be receiving stock on the more kid-friendly Ant-Man and the Wasp line including electronic figures and role-play items. We will also receive a very limited restock on Deadpool Marvel Legends, so if you need certain characters, check in with us soon.
Lucasfilm has their own summer film coming out this month with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story. We will be getting more Star Wars Black Series figures of Han, the Range Trooper and Lando from this film as well as the gorgeous Peter Cushing Grand Moff Tarkin figure back in stock this week. Other Star Wars figures expected include a restock on a handful of the Vintage Carded collection 3 and 3/4″ figures(Jyn Erso, Kylo Ren and I believe the Stormtrooper), as well as the Dewback 6″ scale figure with Sandtrooper.
Funko POP just won’t stop- recent releases include the first of the Garbage Pail Kids series, a small restock of Care Bears, Weird Al Yankovic, WWE Shawn Michaels and Jake the Snake, as well as the Free Comic Book Day exclusive of a bloody Lying Cat from Saga.
