Star Wars is back with a brand new film due to hit by year’s end. To celebrate, Forbidden Planet will be having a sale this Friday to coincide with this year’s Force Friday event. All Star Wars Comics and Graphic Novels will be available at 50% off, while Star Wars Merchandise and Toys will be 10% off.
We are expecting to have some cool new items to celebrate the event, there will be some new 3 and 3/4″ figures with vehicles, a brand new Black Series statue line, and potentially a brand new series of the 6″ Black figures. From what I have seen online, the figures in this latest wave should include Luke, Rey, Kylo Ren and a Stormtrooper from The Last Jedi, a repack of the 40th Anniversary Darth Vader, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Hera Syndulla from Star Wars: Rebels. Currently in-stock items from the Star Wars Black Series include the Clone Trooper 4-pack from Entertainment Earth as well as Lando Calrissian, Tusken Raider, the 40th Anniversary Darth Vader with the Early Bird diorama and more. Recent Star Wars items include the previous Walmart exclusive fully articulated 3 and 3/4″ Black Series figures. Characters in this wave include Ahsoka Tano, Lando, Admiral Ackbar, Jyn Erso, The Death Trooper and the Emperor’s Royal Guard as well as Funko Rogue One POPs of Young Jyn and Galen Erso, Weeteef and a Death Star Droid.
Speaking of Funko POP, the latest in the specialty series has arrived with the release of the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Man-At-Arms POP Vinyl. Man-At-Arms resembles his old school Filmation look- mustache and all.
Star Wars won’t be the only new product we will have out on Force Friday, as the entire assortment of Thor: Ragnarok POPs have arrived and will be on our shelves first thing Friday morning. Thor, Hela, Valkyrie, The Hulk, Loki and more are part of the series. We will also have Thor DORBZ and Mystery Minis out that day, so if you were waiting for the Funko Thor Ragnarok items be sure to come on down Friday at the Planet where we should have some cool new items.
