DC toy fans have a few things to look out for this time around as we have gotten a restock on certain figures along with the debut of four new figures in the DC Icons line. What is it we’re getting? Glad you asked.
As we gear up for the new TV season for the CW shows, certain DC Collectibles’ Arrow TV figures will be returning to our store shelves. Arsenal, Black Canary, Malcolm Merlyn, Diggle and two versions of Oliver Queen will be back for you to carry out your own Arrow adventures. Plus- quite a few of the actors who play these characters will be appearing in the NY/NJ area this weekend making these ideal items to get autographed.
This year also marks the 25th Anniversary of Batman: The Animated Series. DC Collectibles’ excellent line of figures including Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Ra’s Al Ghul, Zatanna and Commissioner Gordon from the classic series and The Joker, Etrigan, Harley Quinn and Nightwing from The New Batman Adventures all make their return to our store shelves this week. The Batwing vehicle and a Batman and Robin two pack as well as the Mad Love Joker and Harley Quinn pack should also be available again.
A limited restock on the Bat-bot wave of Mattel’s DC Multiverse line is also due to arrive. The Reaper and Duke Thomas figures are the most popular ones with the Batwing and Batman figures right behind those. Keep your eyes peeled for those.
It isn’t just older DC figures coming to our shelves however- DC Icons’ is bringing out brand-new Nightwing, Damian Wayne, Jon Kent and Supergirl toys which come out on Wednesday. Each of these figures will be fully articulated and come with interchangeable parts. Damian and Jon are part of the Super-Sons two pack while Dick and Kara will be individually packed. There hasn’t been a Nightwing figure in a bit, so this one is sure to be popular.
Not to be outshined, the most recent wave of Marvel Legends is coming back to stock with the return of Marvel’s Thor Legends wave. Ragnarok is due out in a few months time and the figures are here now. Ares, Hela,Jane Foster, The Odinson and Movie Thor and Loki are all in the wave and if you get them all, a Gladiator Hulk figure is your build-a-figure.
