British artist Steve Dillon, well- known for his work on Preacher, Punisher, and Wolverine: Origins, will visit Forbidden Planet in New York City on June 8 to benefit Hero Initiative, the non-profit organization helping comic creators in need.

Attendees can bring five of their own items to be signed. Dillon will also be drawing five-minute sketches at $25, one per customer, so get in line early! In addition, the artist will bring 10 pieces of original Punisher and Wolverine art that will be raffled off. Only 10 tickets will be sold at $100 each, so each of 10 winners is guaranteed to walk away with an original Steve Dillon masterpiece. I just bumped into Steve at 2:15am at one of my favorite bars in NYC (Foley’s, on 33rd St.). Tonight, October 14th. His first question of me? “Did we make a lot of money for a good cause?”
