Forbidden Planet NYC continues to be a hotbed for independent artists of all kinds. Join us on Sunday November 19th from 5 to 8PM to meet local filmmaker Rakeem J.H. Lawrence of Scared Stiff Films. Rakeem has been making horror films in NYC for over 20 years and we are proud to have him showcase his work right here on his own turf. Rakeem will have copies of his newest film Second Chance available on Blu-ray and DVD as well as DVDs of his earlier work The Date and Sinners. Posters will be available for purchase or come free with purchase of Blu rays and DVDs. Just because the spooky season is over doesn’t mean you can’t live spooky all year round, so mark your calendar, support your local creators and swing by to pick up some fresh indie horror.
